Vis Island One Of The Last Havens

Solta Island - Ecological Haven
It is no exaggeration calling Solta island an environmentally friendly island. Even the Roman Emperor Diocletian was in love with this island where he built a summer residence with a fishpond in one of the bays near Necujam village.

I've chosen this tiny island only 6 square KM large, located in the southwestern part of the Vis island. The renowned Irish magazine The Irish Times in 2011, ranked Bisevo island sandy beach, Porat among the seven most beautiful beaches in the world.
It's the hidden gem, sheltered from strong winds and covered with pine trees. If you really want to getaway in the realm of peace, with rare visitors, this is the place for you. There are no hotels there only private accommodation you have to arrange yourself.
